Play at your own comfort

These settings are free. Tempo and method hints are chosen together by both of you in the room.

On this device only, shape, repeats, direction and texture are written next to reaction drawings.

Music starts only with this button; it does not open the microphone. Critical reactions also appear on screen.

Choosing a game

What to look for in a two-player browser game

When choosing a two-player browser game, first decide whether you will share one device or use two separate screens. EskiLab is built on two separate screens and voice; it is not designed for sharing one keyboard.

One screen, or two points of view?

In a game played on one screen, everyone usually sees the same information. In a game with separate screens, roles can hold different information. If the real fun for you is talking and deciding together, the second setup can make more sense.

In EskiLab the assistant sees how the bottles behave in tests and the outside signs. The chemist reads the rule book and their own gauge. If you both look at the same screen, you skip the part of the solution that has to be built between two people.

What to check before you start

Separate whether a download is needed, whether an account is required and what the free section covers. “Free” may not mean all content is free. Test the connection and microphone before committing to a long session.

  • Can both players join from their own device?
  • Does one role only watch, or do both of you have controls?
  • Is microphone permission requested through a clear action?
  • Does the game wait safely through a disconnect or a locked screen?
  • Is paid access per player or per room?

What kind of expectation does EskiLab fit?

EskiLab is designed for two people who would rather describe observations and apply rules together than race on reflexes. If you enjoy describing visual behavior in a lab and asking “which one should we try first?”, the three free experiments are the place to start.

If you want to solve quietly on your own, play on one device or join as a large group, this session format will not match your expectations. Check device and network compatibility on your own setup with the free section.
